Society of Public Diplomats

At the Society of Public Diplomats, we are a student-led organization who aim to further develop the field of public diplomacy through research, events and community building. The organization is a resource of public diplomacy knowledge for students with a budding or extensive interest in the field; being a part of this organization gives one access to insider resources on how to find public diplomacy internships, how to navigate public diplomacy in the digital age, how to launch your public diplomacy career and how to dispel disinformation.

Annually the organization produces Public Diplomacy Magazine, the annual Master of Public Diplomacy Conference, the annual Roving Conference to Washington, D.C., the annual International Roving Conference and a calendar of events in Los Angeles, CA.

The Society of Public Diplomats has a strong connection with the Master of Public Diplomacy program, however it is open to all students in any USC program undergrad and graduate level.

The Society of Public Diplomats, formerly the Association of Public Diplomacy Scholars, is the nation's first student-run organization in the field of public diplomacy.
